Why Naxos Fun Tours

Compare before you book

Naxos is the largest Cycladic island: Chora, the west-coast beaches, mountain villages and south-coast harbours are separate starting points.

Real inventory

Tours are ranked from the current Naxos inventory, not copied from another destination.

Clear starting points

Cruises may leave from Chora, Agia Anna or southern Panermos; check the meeting point before booking.

Honest limits

Naxos has no international airport and no volcanic caldera; its strengths are sandy beaches, fertile valleys, villages and Mount Zas.

Direct booking

Bookings are completed with GetYourGuide and the local operator, not with us.

Good to know

Frequently asked questions

What is Naxos best known for?

Naxos combines long sandy west-coast beaches, the Portara and Kastro in Chora, fertile valleys, mountain villages and Mount Zas. Bookable experiences concentrate on island bus tours, food and cooking, hiking, sailing and trips to Rina Cave and the Small Cyclades.

Where do Naxos boat tours depart?

There is no single marina for every trip. Departures include Naxos Town, Agia Anna and smaller south-coast harbours such as Panermos. Check the meeting point; travelling across the island can take much longer than the map suggests.

Which beaches belong to Naxos?

Agios Georgios is beside Chora; Agios Prokopios, Agia Anna and Plaka form the best-known west-coast strip. Mikri Vigla is wind-sports territory, while Alyko and Pyrgaki are quieter and less built up.

What does Naxos not have?

Naxos has no international airport and no Santorini-style volcanic caldera. The airport mainly connects through Athens. It is also not a compact resort: mountain villages and remote southern beaches require real travel time.
